VANCOUVER ISLAND PHOTOGRAPHER,
Available Worldwide.

STORYTELLING CAN HOLD MEANING NOT ONLY FOR THE PRESENT MOMENT BUT FOR GENERATIONS.

Alongside romantic wedding imagery across rugged landscapes, I photograph the full spectrum of life and storytelling. Families wrapped in salt air and laughter, graduates marking milestones on the beaches they grew up on, branding and tourism projects shaped by our beautiful, infinite coast and community events that deserve to be remembered.

HI, I'M KIM.

Vancouver Island has been my home my entire life - it is a part of who I am. I embrace everything it throws at me even the stormy rainy days that magically appear out of nowhere. The island has it all, I may sound biased but it's true. My work reflects where I live on the wet west coast.

YOUR LOVE STORY DESERVES TO BE CAPTURED.

I’m proud to be part of Folklore Wedding Company, a collaborative collective of photographers, filmmakers, and planners serving Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. I now exclusively book all of my weddings through Folklore, which allows me to offer couples a seamless, story-driven experience supported by a team that shares my values of community, care and land-rooted storytelling.

Through Folklore, our Vancouver Island–wide offerings bring together planning, trusted local vendors and full media support for couples who want intimate, grounded celebrations. This approach feels aligned with how I love to work: slow, intentional, connected to place.

I’ve also had the chance to help shape Folklore’s North Vancouver Island Wedding Vendor Guide, highlighting the florists, makers and small businesses across the North Island who are doing such beautiful work. Sharing the strengths of my home region, its people, its coastlines, its creative community, is something that means a lot to me.

Being part of Folklore lets me support couples with a creative team that feels like home, while keeping the heart of my work exactly where it’s always been: in storytelling, real connection and the land that raised me.
